Description of Wedgwood St. Moritz Bone China TeapotSt. Moritz is a splendid white on white pattern with platinum banding that takes its inspiration from Switzerland's popular ski resort, classic shapes shimmer with a frosting of snow lace and cameo accents along their wide borders. The 1.4 pint St. Moritz Teapot is suitable for the dishwasher with recommended detergents. Coordinating dinnerware and accessories are also available. Sitting low on a footed base, this traditionally shaped teapot carries the quality and craftsmanship synonymous with the Wedgwood name. Manufactured in England, the piece uses 51 percent bone ash to infuse its fine china with extra strength and durability. Thanks to this strength, the dish resists chipping and can safely go in the dishwasher with recommended detergents. Glossy, white surfaces cover the entire piece only to be interrupted by a soft floral band around its opening. The white of this band carries a slightly grayish hue making it subtly perceptible against its pure white background. Adding a touch of elegance, thin, platinum accents outline the curved handle and encircle the base, opening, and top. Trapping warmth inside to keep tea piping hot, the dome lid catches on an interior lip for a secure hold and features a charming egg-shaped knob centered on its surface. Additionally, a subtle air hole located on one side of the lid facilitates a smooth pour. Measuring 9-1/4 by 6-1/4 by 5-3/4 inches, this pot holds 23 ounces and can be set with matching dinnerware or additional serveware for a highly coordinated look. -- Amy Arnold
